We have five therapists using the Karen Doherty Coaching Method.

Francesca Harden
Francesca is a specialist couples’ therapist with extensive experience supporting couples to repair, grow and strengthen their relationships. She has particular expertise in working with couples facing challenges related to neurodivergence.
Her psychodynamic approach combines insight with practical, active strategies to resolve conflict and improve communication in the here and now, while also building on existing strengths and resilience within the relationship.
Christelle Ntow
Christelle is a couples and relationship counsellor who works with partners seeking greater clarity, emotional connection and understanding.
Her relational and attuned approach focuses on emotional bonds, safety, and how nervous system responses influence communication, conflict and intimacy.
Christelle has a particular interest in working with couples where difference plays a central role, including neurodiversity, contrasting communication styles and differing emotional needs.
Claire Owens
Claire is an accredited Psychodynamic Psychotherapist specialising in DBT-informed therapy, trauma treatment and neurodivergent presentations. She trained in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at Brighton University and in Group Psychotherapy at the IGA.
Claire also runs structured DBT Skills programmes (6–12 weeks) for individuals and groups experiencing emotional dysregulation, eating disorders, over-control patterns, chronic depression and anxiety.
William Walker
William works with both couples and individuals, with a particular focus on relationship difficulties. His experience includes supporting couples navigating relational complexities, separation, co-parenting, neurodiversity-related communication challenges and intimacy issues.
William brings a grounded, reflective approach centred on emotional attunement and meaningful change. William is registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and is a graduate member of the Tavistock Relationships Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors.
Claire Watt-Smyrk
Claire trained as a couple’s therapist at the world renowned Tavistock Relationships Clinic in London and went on to work there as a lecturer and seminar leader. Claire held clinics for the NHS and developed specialist projects for Mind.
Over the last 15 years Claire has run private practices in Shoreditch, Saffron Walden, Cambridge and Norwich as well as working online.
Every relationship is unique but the desire to feel heard, understood and valued is universal. In a world that can feel increasingly unstable, the quality of our relationships becomes evermore fundamental to our wellbeing and sense of belonging.
Claire’s approach to therapy is compassionate and thoughtful. She creates a safe space where both of you can be honest about what is really happening. You’ll work together to understand patterns that aren’t serving you and develop tools that you can use collaboratively.
